BullionBidder

How it works

From a raw auction catalog to a ranked list of deals in under a minute. Here's the whole flow.

1

Drop in a catalog

Drag in the PDF, Excel sheet, or CSV, or paste the lot list straight from an email or website. It reads in seconds, right in your browser.

2

Set your fees and terms

Every lot's all-in cost is only as right as your fees. Set the buyer's premium for this house once and it applies to every lot (add a second rate if some lots charge differently), choose per-lot or one combined shipping cost and enter the amount, and pick how close to dealer retail you want your maximum bid. Two more toggles: keep your AI results cached for 30 days so re-opening a catalog is free, and turn the AI reader on or off (on catches lots the basic reader misses, the price is the same either way). Edit any of it any time, and every lot updates instantly.

3

Set the two currencies

Two separate settings, easy to mix up. Get them right when you load a catalog and every number reads correctly.

a) Catalog currency = the auction house's currency

b) Your currency = the spot-price bar

4

See the wins at a glance

The summary cards show how many lots are under spot, how many under dealer retail, and what you'd save winning them all. The deepest discounts surface as Top Opportunities.

5

See every lot, with its grade

Every lot is graded from STEAL down to PASS, with its all-in cost right beside melt and retail. Search, filter, sort. Override anything the app read wrong.

See where to buy and what it's selling for

Spot a lot you like? Click the magnifier next to it. We pull live prices from bullion dealers and recent listings from eBay US and Canada, right there in the results. Melt and dealer retail tell you the metal value. The dealer prices and eBay listings show what the same piece costs to buy right now, which matters for graded coins and collectibles that trade above melt.

The little buttons on each lot

Pencil: edit what the app read, the metal, weight, or purity, if it got it wrong.
Bookmark: track your bid on this lot and whether you won, to look back on later.
Magnifier: see where to buy it, comparing dealer prices and eBay listings for similar pieces.

Click the magnifier and the where-to-buy comparison opens right there.

No catalog? Quick Check is our free price calculator

Quick Check is a free all-in-one price calculator for any single gold, silver, platinum, or palladium coin, bar, or junk silver, no upload. Type the details or paste a description and see how it compares to live spot and dealer retail. Buying at auction? Add the buyer's premium and shipping (both optional) for your true all-in cost. Works on a dealer's price, a private sale, or something you already own.

Pro and Pro Plus

Build a bid sheet to take to the auction

Pro and Pro Plus can select lots and save or print a clean bid sheet. Do your work in the table, tick the lots you care about, and print one page with your max bid on each, on paper or as a PDF on your phone.

1. Tick the lots in the table

Fill in your maximum bids, check the boxes of the lots you want, across any grade or category, then click Save/Print bid sheet.

2. Save or print your sheet

Your picks open as a clean sheet with the max bid for each, ready to print or save as a PDF for the room.

Keep a library of all your catalogs

Pro and Pro Plus keep every catalog you save, not just your latest one, so you can reopen any auction and pick up where you left off. Everyone can rename a saved catalog, so your library stays easy to scan.
